The Final was between The Inverness Bowling Club and Planefield Bowling Club,it was a friendly affair very good atmosphere with some GO bowls, meaning G means some good bowls O means some odd bowls,
it was rather cold with only one supporter braving the outside but everybody else in Clubhouse recieving some indoor heating ?
The teams where Planefield Rink was Skip.EuniceMcAdem,3rdBob Henderson,2nd Alistair Hendry&Lead ,Moria Henderson.

This was the first ladies game of the season our ladies did very well indeed we had two triples taking part 1st Triple Moria Hamilton (skip)Irene Pearson & Rae Mackay.
2nd Triple Margaret Davidson (skip) Jennifer Forbes & Betty Mackenna .
We should be proud of our Girls, they did not let themselves Our the club down ,Moria's Triple Reaching the Quarter Finales & Margaret's Triple Reached the Final.

This was our first club tournament of the season the weather was kind and spirits where high .
We had seven triples playing and a good day was had by all as you can see by the faces.
The triples where won by Stuart Christie Triple (Stuart Christie, James Johnstone,Sandy Watt)
Runners up where Keith Mackay Triple (Keith MacKay,Margaret Davidson,Jean Howie)

LIST OF BYE- LAWS 1906


The following Bye-Laws have been enacted by the Committee of Management in accordance with Rule XL. In the Constitution of the Club:-
1 A Green Ranger, who must be a Member of Committee, shall be appointed appointed at each Annual General Meeting of the Club. It shall be his duty to see that the Greens kept in good playing order by the Green-keeper, who shall be under his exclusive direction in all matters pertaining to the Green and its amenities Associated with him, to assist and advise when necessary. Shall be two other Members of the Committee -to be appointed annually at its first meeting-to one or other of whom his duties may be temporarily delegated. The three will be known as Green Sub- Committee: - and the Green Ranger shall be the Convener.
2 There shall be no play upon the green prior to its being declared open by the commencement of the season on a date neither fixed by the committee nor shall be any match or private play thereon after it has been declared for the season.
3 The dates fixed by the committee for playing tie and other competitions shall, after being announced be adhered to absolutely. All players or rinks who may not have played when another draw is due ,shall be struck off the list of such competition ,unless a written explanation be forthcoming from one or both of the opposing players or skips: whereupon the committee shall decide the point of issue between parties, and there decision shall be final.
4 The first party drawn (rink or single) must arrange with his opponent as to date and hour to play.
5 Skips playing incomplete rinks shall at all times be expected to accept as members of their teams members of the Club who first appear ,on the Green, and desire to play, otherwise they shall he expected to give a reasonable explanation. To the party or parties concerned.
6 Expectorating on the playing area of the Green, throwing tobacco ashes thereon, used matches, or any other material offensive to players, or injurious to the turf, shall, be regarded as a serious offence, and he so -dealt with by the Committee.
7 A Book shall be kept in the Club house for the use and inspection of members, in which the names of visitors, together. With the name or names of those introducing them, shall be inscribed. Visitors may play on the Green three times only during one season free' of charge; if they play more than three times they shall be, if non-resident, held liable for the price of a weekly or monthly ticket, according as the Committee shall determine. Members introducing, the visitors so charged shall be held responsible for payment of the ticket or tickets issued.
8 Ties in all single-handed matches for Club prizes shall be drawn-name against number-in presence of at least three Members of Committee. This rule shall apply to the first and all subsequent draws ill each competition.
9 Bowls belonging to members shall not be used by other members, or visitors, without the permission of the owner,
10 Skips appointed at the Annual General Meeting of the Club shall, throughout the season, act in such capacity in rotation; said rotation to be fixed according to the number of votes each receive at said meeting. Any skip or skips unable to accept their anointment shall lose such rotation for the time being; but at those who take their place shall not forego their rotation for subsequent matches.
11 The Green Ranger shall have power- to prohibit play on the Green when he considers such prohibition necessary.
12 Dogs shall not be permitted within the grounds.
13 The Green Ranger, and other Members of the Sub-Committee, shall individually see that the bye-laws of the Club are strictly enforced; but complaints thereanent shall be dealt with by the General Committee alone, either on verbal or written evidence.
14 The .Rules of the Game as published from time to time by the Scottish Bowling Association shall be adhered to in all respects.
15 Extract from Rule X1. already referred to: Any member contravening the rules or bye-laws, and persisting therein, after being warned by the President, shall be subject to expulsion by the Committee of Management from all the rights and-privileges of the Club.

In order to conserve the Green as much as possible, members are requested. To wear rubber soled boots or shoes when playing.
